Following a shower leak, we recently had our primary bathroom remodeled by Reef Runner Remodeling & Repair along with having two additional bathrooms painted. We truly cannot say enough great things about this company. From the initial estimate through the final remodel, the entire process was seamless. Communication was excellent, our questions were answered promptly, and any minor concerns were addressed immediately. We never had to worry about the project. We are incredibly grateful and blessed to have worked with Reef Runner in Gulf Breeze! After purchasing our home, we discovered devastating termite damage that made it completely unlivable. Six years later, we were heartbroken and preparing to tear the entire house down. That is when Gary from Reef Runner stepped in and changed everything. He confidently told us, "It’s not a teardown; we can save it for you."True to his word, just seven months later, at least 2/3 of our house was completely rebuilt and perfectly safe to move into. Reef Runner has been great to work with! As a real estate investor, time is of the essence! Their team was prompt and thorough. Reef Runner Remodeling removed our old walkin shower and replaced it with a tile shower. Very pleased with the outcome. They had a different specialist for each specialty such as removal of old shower, plumbing, tile, painting etc. Everyone was always concerned and took necessary precautions to keep the area and house clean. Was pleased with all workers involved in the project. However, several stood out and they were Scott and Joel. Extra acknowledgement to Joel the painter who blended the work area with existing area and you cant tell any difference and we're they blend together. I have another project on a interior hallway entry that I will definitely have Reef handle. Pricing of the project was fair and reasonable.

Reef Runners is an excellent company. I used them for repairing my septic tank and electrical box(thanks to Ben and his crew). Recently had them remove my 22 year old French doors. Bobby came out and measure and order all the parts. Then Jason and JJ remove and installed the new French doors. They were professional and did an awesome job even when a bear showed and startled JJ. Definitely recommend this company. Joel the painter did an amazing job painting the inside, outside and trim.

We hired Reef Runners to renovate our master bathroom. During the demo, they discovered we had termite damage in the master bathroom and the garage. Patrick has been on site from the beginning of the renovation and did an excellent job of managing the termite rebuild while continuing to keep the bathroom remodel on schedule. The Best General Contractor Remodeling and Renovation Company I have ever worked with. Used them on several renovations from major bathroom to recent ceiling drywall repair. They are prompt, reasonably priced and talented. Recent drywall repair was accomplished by Calvin Sellers. He is the Best! All are pleasant and easy to work with. If I could give Gary Winkler and Reef Runner more than 5 starts I would. They handled a major renovation of our house including the full renovation of the master bath, re-routing electrical cables to move the laundry from the garage to the upper level of the house, electrifying and lighting our dock, replacing two hot water heaters, updating and replacing internal and external electrical panels, painting the entire house and a myriad of smaller tasks including carpentry, plumbing and electrical work. Bathroom photos before and after and attached. What makes them great is they have their own in-house craftsmen, trades and materials. They are able to manage the schedule and quality of their work directly,. All tasks were completed on time and on budget. They are fully transparent. The schedule, financial tracking and photographs of their progress are all available daily on the Buildertrend cite. Like any project, things change. With Reef Runner all changes are presented to and approved by the customer as change orders. All change orders, their description and cost are available on Buildertrend. There were no surprises, each draw was discussed and approved by us. Ease of contact with the Reef Runner management team was fantastic and very fast. We routinely contacted Gary, the CEO, the project manager and the regional project manager by phone, text or in person at their office. Gary and his management team answered questions quickly. Often times, their response came within five minutes of the text or phone call. Finally - the main reason we enjoyed working with Gary and Reef Runner as they way we were treated. Despite multiple projects Gary and the rest of the Reef Runner team made us feel like we were their most important project. Working with Reef Runner was an outstanding experience. We plan to use them in the future for more projects. Fully recommend Reef Runner for all your contractor needs. Five Stars plus!

We had rotten subfloors and had to remodel our entire house. We contracted with Reef Runners. I was a general contractor in Colorado for over 20 years but did not have the ambition to take on this project. I am getting better at writing checks than doing work anymore. Gary offered to have me ride with him and his dad to numerous jobs to see their capabilities and meet some homeowners. I was sold and signed the contract with an agreement that I may do some of the work. Reef Runners started our job on schedule and finished in a reasonable amount of time. Since I have skills in all aspects of construction I kept an eye on what was going on. There were a few times that I offered my advice and it was well received. I did end up doing some of the work myself and Reef Runners worked with me time wise and financially in a equable fashion. I would hire Gary and his team for my next project that I do not want to tackle.

Even though I decided to go a different direction, the service and professionalism of the entire organization was incredible. Gary was extremely knowledgeable and professional and all the appointments were confirmed and they showed up early, each time! Thank you to Brian and the crew of Reef Runner for helping us with our custom door. We have an older home, and the original 4-foot-wide wood front door was deteriorated and needed to be replaced. Although we reached out to several companies, they all wanted us to size down to a 3-foot-wide door. I saw Reef Runner Remodeling at a Gulf Breeze Chamber event and contacted them for an estimate. We were able to get everything we wanted with a custom mahogany door. We added a Speakeasy window and handmade Iron Grate as well as upgraded door locks to make this door a real showpiece. Brian worked closely with us to make sure everything went smoothly. We love our door!

Reef Runner Remodeling and Repair just built a 30 X 15 deck on the back of our home and did an awesome job. The first thing that caught my attention was Reef Runners really cool design on their trucks! I contacted them and from day one I was impressed with Reef Runner! The crew from Reef Runner was superb. We had lpv flooring installed and it looks amazing. My ac went out during the install and they went the extra mile and had a hvac expert come inspect it. Gary’s team installed new hurricane windows and doors. They did a fantastic job. Attention to detail was great. They were on time and in budget. We had one issue with a bad door. I can not say enough about Reef Runner. From the moment that Brian came to give us an estimate on the project we wanted done, I knew we were going to be in good hands. We needed to have the ceiling/popcorn done with tongue and groove, fans, and lighting throughout the house. Harrison, Rob and Sam did the tongue and groove on the ceiling. It was not an easy task but they did a phenomenal job. Scott and Joel were the two that painted the ceiling, again not an easy task. It made all the difference to the Florida room. Also the electricians from Perdido Electric, Kolby, Ryan, and Kody were wonderful. They did the fans and lighting throughout the house. When they noticed the rope lighting wasn’t going to working our area, they were quick to get the correct lighting to us. Also we had a back door that was not put in properly by another contractor. Harrison and Joel came back several times to make it right..they all have high standards for their quality of work. We could not be more happier with this project. Wish we had done this sooner. If I could give Reef Runner more than five stars I would. They met our expectations and more.

Reef Runners just completed a MAJOR renovation of our condo in Perdido and did an excellent job! Everything was upgraded from floors to countertops, all bathrooms, fixtures, lighting, tile, shiplap, barn doors, etc etc. And the entire unit was painted including doors and baseboards. It was a LOT of work. The quality of work was excellent. The primary bathroom is spectacular now! And they are good people to boot. Gary was personally involved in our project and visited the job site numerous times during the 12-week project to make sure we were satisfied. Kyle was a diligent project manager and Doug, Nick and team did great work. If you've ever done a large project, you know that nothing ever goes 100% as planned, but they were always responsive to our concerns and quickly fixed anything that bothered us. Gary and the team (Ronnie et al) worked on an extensive back deck rebuild project, and multiple sliding doors install. I have a lot of good things to say about them. 1. Quality of work. The inspector I hired to inspect the project after the deck build was very complementary of the quality of the work. Considering that I wasn't onsite to supervise, this is even more of an indication of their work ethics. 2. Gary's always super responsive and on point with his communications. Always respectful and curteous. I appreciate going over my thoughts with him on these projects. Quick to bid on jobs, quick to respond to questions, and quick act. Ronnie, the team lead, was also very good at sending me pictures throughout the project. 3. Gary is available when things need to adapt, which often happens when you are working with details onsite in the field. 4. Gary took care of me even after I had already paid him in full on the sliding doors project, when we discovered some things needed rework. Bobby and crew were great to work with. 5. The deck rebuild project was a very complex job in my opinion. Two levels of decks on pilings were completely rebuilt. I'm glad to have a firm like RR who can take care of complex project like mine. 6. I also now have a level of trust in Gary and his guys that is "battle tested". I will definitely call him for future projects. I sincerely wish him, his crew and his company even more success in the future!

We used reef runner for a rather large project on our home where we rewired the entire home, updated plumbing throughout the home, remodeled the kitchen, and made some changes to the layout of the common spaces. As a result, this was a longer process that had multiple variables involved. Reef runner took the time to work with the design team we hired and made sure that everything was done right. They also made sure to address and correct any issues that came up along the way. My wife and I are very pleased with the final product, and we're glad we hired them for our project!

We have a builder grade insert removed, and we decided to expand our shower plus add tile floor to ceiling! It was a smooth process. Great locally-owned company!

Reef Runner remodeled two bathrooms in my house. The tradesmen did a great job. Rob, Eric, Richard, Taylor, and Austin did much of the work in the two bathrooms, and they had great attention to detail. Ben and Tre did a great job with the plumbing installation. Perdido Electric did great installing my lights, my lighted mirrors, and fans. Brian led the crew, and came by each day to ensure the work was done right. There were several delays in getting the bathrooms done, including holidays, but they got back on track and they look great and function very well. I am very happy with the work. The Onyx showers installed by Rob and Eric look great, and Donny from Viking Shower Glass did an awesome job installing our custom glass walls and doors. When issues arose they were able to come up solutions in short order. Richard was even able to custom make some trim moldings on the spot that look great. They insured a tidy clean-up at the end of day, and at the end of the job. I will be hiring Reef Runner again in the future, and will be requesting this crew also.

An incredible crew of Reef Runners pros helped us fix a stem wall issue in our garage which we had no idea was crumbling (behind shelving units). They came in one day with a an entire team of professionals who got to work immediately and didn’t stop til they reached a point they were comfortable to leave for the next day. I had a leaking toilet that ruined my subfloor. Jose came out within a week of my initial call to inspect the situation and get me an estimate. They were able to squeeze me into the schedule and in less than 3 weeks my complete panic was turned into peace of mind. Ryan and the other guys did a great job repairing my bathroom floor and installing a new toilet. I am very happy with the work done and the efficiency of the team. I received great customer service from everyone involved. I will absolutely call them for work in the future.

Highly recommended! Reef Runners recently completed several improvements to our house. We started with a small job, a kitchen countertop replacement, after experiencing their level of professionalism, (which included things like punctuality, follow thru, good communication and attention to detail) we decided to move forward with the larger projects. In no time at all they replaced a large exterior deck, replaced exterior tile, installed two outdoor awnings with electrical and added a screen room to our back porch. Gary and his team exemplify the way a contractor should perform. They communicated their weekly progress making sure each step was done satisfactory. When problems arose Gary and his crew were transparent about them and were proactive in finding a resolution. His staff went above and beyond by not only taking pride in their work but helping my mom. You see my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer and was living with us at the time. On multiple occasions I would learn that Gary's team members had helped mom while we were away. One morning in particular, mom was having a rough day (Chemo sucks) and she was struggling to get dressed, Dottie (one of Gary's workers) came in to use the restroom and recognized that mom was struggling and stepped up to help her. I cant tell you how much that meant to us, again going above and beyond. I am overly pleased with their work. I highly recommend Reef Runner Remodeling for any renovation project you might have! What we thought was going to be a simple shower update, unfortunately turned into a complete repair & renovation of about 10% of our home due to termites. However, we are so pleased with the complete transformation of our 1962 master bath, that it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. (Still hate termites though lol.) There are so many things that place this company head & shoulders above their competition - first & foremost, Gary Winkler, the owner, is a wonderful, transparent communicator & always responds quickly to any question or concern - a rare and much appreciated quality in a busy business owner. This was my first experience with any home renovation project, & especially with the unexpected termites, it could have been far more stressful, but Gary & all his employees were so responsive that I knew everything was being taken care of the right way every step of the way. They ended up having to rebuild the walls in our stairway, relocate & install a new window & some exterior siding as well as completely rip out & rebuild every inch of our master bath. The resulting quality of their workmanship in every area is simply perfection. Reef Runner Remodeling is a family-owned, faith-based company, and I never gave a second thought to leaving my home open for their employees to come & go. I was amazed frankly by how outstanding each & every one of their employees was - they were all true craftsmen, took great pride in their work, showed up on time & ready to work, had cheerful attitudes and were exceptionally considerate that demo can be disruptive & really went out of their way to keep everything as clean & quiet as possible at all times. I have nothing but positive things to say about Reef Runner! We just moved into our first home, and hired them to give an outdated fireplace a facelift along with removing a column in our entryway. We are absolutely in LOVE with our new zero entry shower built by Reef Runner! They overcame the challenges typically associated with the installation of an extra long linear drain. Not only does it look beautiful, but it functions amazingly, reducing draining and drying time with the greatest of ease. They also mastered the install of the not so common double basket weave design on the walls with complete continuity. Even though we ran into some unexpected setbacks, they were committed to delivering a fantastic end result that was well worth the wait. They were professional, communicative, dependable, personable, respectful, and forthright throughout the entire process. I had the privilege of assisting a client in a whole home refresh of their vacation rental property and Reef Runner is my go-to recommended contractor. If I could give you a 10 I would. Our project started January 7th 2024. It encompassed the entire remodel of our bottom floor; approximately 1500 ft². We took a 1967 old funky beach house and turned it into a gorgeous modern masterpiece, including a total kitchen remodel, 2 total bathroom redos, walls taken out and rebuilt, new master suite, all new Sheetrock, ceilings, floors, plumbing and electrical work. From demo to finish, these guys came ready to work every day for the 3 and a half months the job entailed. As we lived upstairs, we were there every step of the way and saw everything. Mike, Sam, Laney, Nick, Zack, Ben, Adam, and everyone else, were a joy to work with. The crew went above and beyond our expectations. Questions were answered with speed and knowledge and problems were solved quicky. There was never any doubt where we stood with the budget which was followed with rigor. A job cannot go this well without expert guidance from an excellent and hands on management team. Kyle and Gary were, and still are, only a text away with any problems, questions or concerns. We are beyond satisfied with the job done by the entire crew and heartily recommend this company for any remodel, large and small. We will certainly be calling on their expertise again when the remaining parts of the house need attention.

I cannot recommend this company enough. We hired them to install new flooring and fix some sub floor issues. Everything was handled quickly, correctly and as easy as possible. We will definitely be using them again in the future!

Gary and crew did an outstanding job taking care of us and our house. After Sally many homes needed repair, meaning their crews were extremely busy and already behind with other projects. Initially we only had some ceiling repairs needed from Sally done and planned for it to be complete just days prior to welcoming our first child into the world, however mid-project an emergency came up with the house's flooring. Gary was quick to make us aware of the issue and stayed with us late that evening helping us decide the best course of action. We were completely expecting to hear that addressing that unexpected issue would cause significant delays, but Gary reassured us that his crew would take care of the new issue immediately, before moving on to another project. What this meant was he adjusted a couple other workers' schedules, his team willingly worked two Saturdays (which we were not even expecting them to) in order to complete the project before we brought our newborn home. Gary and his team are a first class Christian company, and went above and beyond our high-quality expectations. We are greatly appreciative of their dedication and commitment to the job and the people they work for. I can't express enough how much the Reef Runner Team means to me and my family and would highly recommend them for any job/project that you are looking to have done!
